Primary Therapist
Samantha is a compassionate and dedicated Primary Therapist who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Lakeview Health family. She joined the team in January 2023 and has since played a pivotal role in helping individuals overcome mental health struggles and reclaim their lives.
Samantha holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from The Catholic University of America and a master’s degree in clinical psychology from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. During her time at the university, Samantha specialized in substance abuse, trauma, mental health struggles, and psychosocial stressors, gaining valuable insights into the complexities of addiction.
Before joining the Lakeview Health family, Samantha worked as a group therapist for adults battling eating disorders. Her experience working closely with women affected by eating and feeding disorders has equipped her with a deep understanding of the challenges they face and the support they need to heal. Additionally, Samantha served as an in-home family and substance abuse therapist. Her experience working closely with families affected by addiction provides her with skills and competence in the realm of mental health and its interplay with addiction. Samantha is a registered mental health counseling intern.
